The End of the Art Market
JanuaryJan 17 2019 02:00pm - 03:00pm

Event Description:
"The End of Art Market", Dr. Resch, an economist and professor at Columbia University, will discuss the concept that art has no intrinsic value. Instead an invisible network of galleries, art consultants, collectors and museums work in a non-transparent manner to establish the value of a work of art. The goal of Dr. Resch’s research is to make the business of Art and sale of Art more transparent and to shed light on how value is curated and influenced by the players in the art world.
